“Communication between the tour operator to airport pick-up agent in Mexico City was not clear. I made several attempts to find out about the pick-up location- eg which door, what sign to look for... on and on with multiple people. I lost count of how many people I spoke to. After 45 minutes of waiting outside, “I” found the agent.”

“It’s difficult to give a star rating because what you see is great but there are also negatives. Chichen Itza is amazing. To do it justice I’d you’re really interested in the history etc you need longer and a proper guide talking you through the whole site. I would recommend going private or independently with an audio guide. The two cenotes are great. Both very different. Valladolid is nice to visit. The negatives… Transportation is not comfortable and you are in it for a looooong time! Very cramped and a little claustrophobic (I’m a small person too!) It is a long day. “Francisco was an amazing tour guide. He showed us parts of PDC we would have never found or thought to venture into. We had so many food options and opportunities for seconds at multiple stops. We learned about the history of Mexico and PDC, and also new changes that are happening. Francisco even walked us to the shopping area we wanted to go to, waited while we exchanged our money, and gave us tips while shopping in the area. Francisco is really your friend in PDC. Take the tour you won't regret it at all!”

“The trip was adequate. Stops at Chichen Itza, Cenote and Valladolid was great. They should have used the time at the Mayan village (1.5h)and cut down Chichen Itza (2.5h) each by half an hour as we only had 40min for the cenote and 20min Valladolid. The busdriver left us twice standing for 10+Min outside in the blazing heat while he was sleeping in the aircon bus. Our bus arrived 30min late. The english speaking tour guide at Chichen Itza was useless and I got more info from google. Best would be to try a different tour as it was more sale of local produce than informative.”

“It's been a week since our daytrip to Chichen Itza with stops at Cenote at Saamal, the Mayan village at Kaua, and the Spanish Colonial city of Valladolid and we are still processing the wealth of information that our guides Victor and Nestor gave us. Victor is so knowledgeable about the Mayan history and is witty, articulate and a tremendous educator. Full marks to each of them, and our driver. Highly recommend this tour.”

“Very basic tour. They do not pick you up from your hotel as advertised. Locations we were taken (restaurant and beach club) were very basic. Food was terrible. The guide was great. The views beautiful.”

“pickup was nearly thirty minutes late. we were not told that the bus would include a large group from cancun, which is fine but this booking made it seem like it’d only include folks from tulum. what we strongly disliked was all the additional fees throughout the trip. it would’ve been nice to have known this at the time of booking, because otherwise we wouldn’t have booked this. our guide, Jimmy, kept trying to sell us on a “diamond” package where he claimed it included all drinks. he tried to deny us from taking our own water into the first park, but it turns out you can bring reusable bottles…”

“The best of the best. Our guide was excellent; you could feel his energized and passionate spirit for the Mayan culture and history in the way he spoke. He made the trip to Chichen Itza fascinating and gave our visit such depth and meaning. The driver and support staff were lovely and a lot of fun also. Lots of jokes and fun was had.”

“Pros: wild remote environment, friendly guides, beautiful birds, swim with fishes, turtles & dolphins (see only from boat, no swim), good colors. Cons: tortured 3h in van bouncing up&down in bumpy road, not seethrough water (maybe the season… told me good time to visit is december), overall high price IMO for time spent mostly in transportation.”
