Comfortable open-ticket ferry from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel with AC, WiFi, pet areas, and hourly departures. Quick, organized, and good value.

“After reading different reviews online, I was concerned that ticketing might be difficult. I thought it went very smoothly. I presented my online voucher at the well marked company stall along with my passport for identification. I was issued an open ended round trip ticket. I presented the ticket at both ends of my trip and it was scanned without incident. If you want to sit outside you must be seated before the ferry moves. I would suggest a Dramamine type product if you have issues with motion sickness. I felt a little nauseous going over to Cozumel and decided to buy some Dramamine for the return trip. I enjoyed…”

David was an exceptional guide, showing us the beautiful life of the sea and spotting the sharks as well as other captivating marine life in the area. David helped get the perfect photos/videos throughout the dive and was very informative about the wildlife in the surface. We would highly recommend David and Pro Dive for your next dive trip.”

Catamaran day trip from Playa del Carmen to Cozumel for reef snorkeling, starfish sanctuary, lunch at Playa Mia, and a town stroll.

“Please do not book with this company ever! I’ve had the worst experience with them. Their advertisement never states a child age restriction. They allow you to purchase tickets for children without advising people that children under 6 are not allowed on a catamaran and children under 8 are not allowed to snorkel in Cozumel waters. My daughter is 5 1/2 and after arriving at the meet up point, they told us we were not gonna be allowed to board the boat due to her being under 6. They took my full payment of $498 for 3 people (me my husband and daughter) and never informed us of an age…”

Two-tank scuba in Cozumel with ferry ride, lunch, and reef fees handled from Playa del Carmen. Small group, easy transfers.

“This is my second scuba trip with Viator and both were very low quality. It is best to Google reputable places in the area and buy directly. The boat was complete garbage, the transport was packed full, the snorkel equipment was the cheapest I had ever seen anywhere. No booties for scuba and only fins that hurt your feet. Our dive master was good, though. This was the only dive trip I’ve ever been on where they forgot to turn on my air. I jumped in the ocean and couldn’t breathe. I understand it was my responsibility to check but the assured me I was good to go. Lesson learned.…”

10.Cozumel Snorkeling Tour from Playa del Carmen

★★★★★★★★★★4.0 · 29 reviews · 10 hours (approx.) · from $135

Full-day Cozumel snorkeling from Playa del Carmen with ferry, reef stops, buffet lunch, and small-group vibe—pickup options available.

“The provider promotes this as a snorkel tour. In fact, it is for both divers and snorkelers - their name is Pro Dive Mexico. Of course, you do not know that they are a dive company until you book. And even then there is no indication that you will be paired with divers. A dive tour and a snorkel tour have clearly different objectives. Our trip had 7 divers and 7 snorkelers. But 3 of the snorkelers were related to the divers, so they were there for that reason. Our party of 4 was the only group interested in snorkel only since we booked a snorkel tour. The only other…”

A private yacht day in Cozumel with snorkeling, lunch, and an open bar plus round-trip hotel pickup from Cancun and Riviera Maya.

“For the price we paid for this, somewhat disappointing. The food was a cheese tray. Drinks were fair and service was acceptable, but not rated a 10. Communication with the tour company, “Viator” was not user friendly.”
