“Picking up is on time with small van that has 14 seats. 6 of us in the van met and got aquinted, then surprisingly we soon stopped at a place and called into separate vans. Guess that kind of pick up reduced total pick up time. So we were with a new group in a new van, total 14 people. I would say the pick up process is very smooth. We arrived Chichen itza at 8:40am with 1 hour time change. The guide Ivan explained the site well then we had about 1 hour 30 min free time before meeting whole group at 11:10 am. “They tried to sell us something constantly. Two stops were at closed or dirty toilets to buy tequilas for 200 dollars. Photos were taken of us to be out on alcohol bottles to be sold to us for 25 dollars. Pick up Bus went around 3 hours among the coast to pick up guests. We missed our dinner at 10pm. Only 30 min in the maya village for a toilet, could not really see it. Food at the Cenotes was bad and when I did not want to give a tip I received a bag of 1 peso coins as change for the drinks. “Did this tour in early June and it was well worth the day trip from Cancun/Marriott. Our tour guide Juan was very friendly and knowledgeable of the cenotes we visited. “Awesome and lovely snorkel trip. We happened to be the only couple at our time slot. Our guide simply adjusted to this and offered the option to explore a more ‘challenging’ route to see what the ocean could offer us today(a little extra). And she did show off! Seen a tortoise, eagle ray, squids, some shy lobsters and plenty of beautiful fish! Our guide had a lot of knowledge, and as an American, spoke fluent English, is very friendly and helpful. Great to have him as an International visitor. Definitely a must do when you visit Puerto Morelos!”

“We only had time for a half day excursion. This trip was perfect. We got into Tulum early before it was too crowded. Carlos shared so much information. We then headed to the cenote for the second part. We were underground for a long time-40 minutes or so. NOTE- it sounds scary…dark, tight spaces, bats, but it really wasn’t. I’m a bit claustrophobic and do NOT like bats. I was not uncomfortable even once. Once again Carlos had so much information to share. We ended with a delicious lunch. It was a great half day trip!”

“This was a great tour for people who want a focused trip to Chichen Itza and without too many additional stops. Our driver José and our guide Juam (that’s with an “m”!) were both excellent - very warm and professional. I chose this tour because I was interested in seeing the archeological site but didn’t want to spent >10 hours on the trip doing extra activities like tequila tasting and shopping etc so if that’s something you’re interested in I’d definitely recommend it!”

“This tour came recommended from a friend who did it 3 years ago and it remains impressive today! We had an awesome guide Cesar, who was super energised to tell us all about the history of the area and obviously has deep respect for the land and culture of the region. The pace of the tour was good, with a great array of things to see and do including history, nature and activities. “Our Tour Guide Simon was outstanding--I highly recommend requesting him. His knowledge of Mayan history, culture, customs, beliefs, and language very much enhanced this tour. He was enthusiastic and really went out of his way to provide us the best experience. We not only got to experience Coba but also a chocolate making demonstration and a Mayan Shaman blessing. The only criticism I have is with the provided lunch. Viator listed this as a buffet and it was not. Instead it was a minimal 3 course meal that was unremarkable.”
