“Incredible cave tour—one of the best we’ve done! Crystal-clear water, stunning formations, and a magical atmosphere. There are five routes, so if you return, mention which one you’ve done. Wetsuits are optional but recommended—the water’s cold and you’re in it a while. Life jackets are mandatory, and deep spots plus uneven cave floors can be tricky if you’re not confident in water. A highlight was when the guide switched off all lights and led a short meditation in complete darkness—hip-deep in water, it felt otherworldly. She then sang a song, adding to the surreal moment. We all had a great time on this small, intimate tour. I like that they keep the tours to about 10 people. There are several routes within the caves. We did “Enchanted” and loved it. It was also very cool to learn the history and the spiritual component of the caves and the meaning to the Mayans. Highly recommend!”
